The Presidential election of 2016 touched all Americans. For some, the election of Donald Trump was a welcome change to a federal government that they viewed as being full of corrupt and self-serving career politicians. For many of us, however, we’ve entered an era of fear. Fear of losing our rights, the rights women and minorities have fought for decades to gain. Fear for our neighbors, friends and loved ones who aren’t straight white men – the LGBTQ community, Muslim Americans and women. Women’s issues will be the focus of this blog. We will not be dragged back to the 1950’s by Donald Trump or any of his swamp-dwelling cabinet. Join the resistance!
